Brent graduated with his Masters of Physical Therapy from UW-Madison in 2007, after earning his bachelor's degree in physiology from Marquette University. He completed a one year orthopedic residency training program through the Institute of Physical Art in Functional Manual Therapy under the mentorship of Andy Kerk and in 2013 he successfully completed the rigorous certification process as a Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT). He is also board certified in orthopedic physical therapy from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (OCS).
Brent is a strong advocate for providing one-on-one personalized care that fits perfectly into the Body Mechanics treatment model. He serves his patients well as they benefit from his positive attitude combined with his manual therapy skills and dedicated knowledge of the most current physical therapy research. His advanced training in manual therapy and prescriptive exercise is effective with all types of athletic injuries, and other musculoskeletal dysfunction. Brent is the son of a local PGA golf professional and an avid golfer himself who specializes in treating individuals with golf-related injuries, or those who just want to maximize their physical potential to improve their games. Brent also has a unique history of treating individuals on-site at their industrial work places, as well as providing and implementing ergonomic and prevention programs to both management and employees.
